Saucy Hotdog Pasta

This is the super duper simple pasta me and my sister loves.

    1 tbsp olive oil
    1 packet of 10 hotdog cut into chunky pieces
    1 large onion , chopped
    2 garlic cloves , crushed
    1 bell pepper (optional, or any colour)
    1 tsp chilli powder (optional, but I like it spicy)
    400g can chopped tomatoes/campbell mushroom/canned pasta sauce
    500g cooked short pasta such as fusilli
  1. Heat the oil in a deep pot and fry the hotdogs chunks on a fairly high heat until they are golden brown all over. Now turn the heat down and add the onion and garlic, cooking them until they have softened.

  2. Stir in the chilli powder and tomatoes with the hotdogs , bring the sauce to the boil then turn the heat down and let it bubble for about 10 minutes while you cook the pasta.

  3. Combine pasta into pot with the sausage sauce, mixing well to coat.
