Basic Waffles

    2 large eggs
    2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 3/4 cups milk
    1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted butter
    1 tablespoon sugar
    4 teaspoons baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon salt
  1. Start by heating your waffle iron.
  2. Beat the eggs in a large bowl with a wire whisk until light and frothy. Beat in the remaining ingredients just until smooth.
  3. Spray the inside of the waffle iron with nonstick spray and cook the waffle batter for 3 min.
  4. Serve immediately with your favorite topping!
